ArteRed uses art to promote social justice and improve the quality of life of many children who have been exposed to violence. Children tend to be naturally artistic and they usually use art as a way in which to express feelings and emotions through drawing and painting. By using art as our major teaching tool children may be more apt to express traumatic events when they cannot or will not do so through the use of words.
